Repairs
Many coating repairs can be addressed by Municipal Diving without the need to de-water the tank/reservoir. Here are a few of the additional repairs we are able to address while the tank/reservoir is in service:
- Epoxy coating defects and failures
- Cracks in concrete
- Leaks in concrete
- Tears/holes in Hypalon or Polypropylene
- Tie wire/rebar corrosion
- Spalling
- Sacrificial anode installation
- Hydraulic Ram Installation
- Broadcast HTH
- Target Repair
Municipal Diving uses a two-part epoxy patching material that has NSF-61 approval for application in potable water storage facilities.
We specialize in conducting eleven month warranty inspections in concrete, steel and flexible membrane facilities. Coating holidays, tie wire/rebar corrosion and flexible membrane defects can easily be identified during a warranty inspection which can save the owners of water storage facilities significant expense. All defects are then the responsibility of the coating contractor.
During 11 month warranty inspections, inspections following repairs, or new construction of a storage facility, we are often able to address defects and holidays while the tank is still under warranty.
